THE FOUNDER

J. Todd Smith has worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years. His career began at the age of 4 as an actor/model in commercials and print ads seen in various publications and countries. J. Todd founded DTMF Films, LLC. in 2004, naming it in tribute of the support he has received from his family throughout the years, specifically his late father (Dedicated To My Father).

"Acting is Directing is Producing is Writing..." This was a lesson learned from one of his college professors and J. Todd Smith takes it to heart. This does not mean that one person should do everything, but that everything should be understood by that person. This is what inspired J. Todd to open his skill set to include positions behind the camera and in the production office.
